2. Our Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing Information - Information collected and processed is only for the administration of Rebus Medicolegal Ltd. activities. Your information is used to deliver our services and contact you, as well as to improve the website experience for our users. As outlined above, this information may be collected from you in various ways including but not limited to when you provide it to us by getting in contact (phone/email/web), via terms of agreements, letters of instruction and correspondence you send to us. We may also collect your details when enquires are sent through a third party vendor.

The basis for our processing is to perform the contract related to our services or because you have asked us to take specific steps before entering into a contract in respect to these activities and services. Name, date of birth, phone number, email address, address, billing address, company name (if applicable), VAT number (if applicable). In these instances, we process your personal data because it is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, or in order to take steps at your request to enter into a contract.

Information may be collected to administer our website, carry out data analysis, allow you to participate in interactive features of the website, ensure content is presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer and monitoring website usage. Sharing Users' Personal Data - Rebus Medicolegal Ltd. shares personal data only with companies/organisations/service providers for the purpose of delivering our services and running our business, fulfilling any contracts we enter with you, or where required by law or to enforce our legal rights.

4. How Long we will Retain Your Data - We will keep hold of your data for no longer than necessary.   • Enquiries Unless you provide consent for future contact during your enquiry, we will keep your information for as long as is required to respond and complete your enquiry, and for a further 12 months, before deleting your information.
  • Clinical records Clinical records will be kept for a period of six weeks following finalisation of the report to answer any questions of fact or interpretation. Thereafter, instructing solicitors will be e-mailed and asked if they wish us to retain the file. If we do not get a reply within two weeks, we will destroy the files confidentially.
  • Qualifications and professional data Medical professional qualifications, most recent CV, GMC certification and professional practicing certificate and copy of public liability insurance and indemnity information will be retained for 21 years for the purposes of verifying qualifications and indemnity.
